Wish I could talk about it -- but I am still forming my letter to HAL.

    I will mention this.

With this new, cheap 4 Star program, many people can reach 200 days in nothing flat. That means according to the 4 star status this people now have priority embarkation. They get to check in at the Deluxe Suite check-in area.

We were numbers 3 and 4 to enter the terminal at Pier 26 in Ft Lauderdale. We were also numbers 3 and 4 to go through security. But we got a shock when we went to get in line at the Deluxe Suite check-in. There were already about two dozen passengers in line. We have no idea where they came from. Also the majority of them were not booked in a Deluxe Suite. The 3 ladies working the counter had to constantly go to the other side to get these 4 star Mariners their ID cards and information. As a result it was quite a while before we got to check in. By the time we got upstairs all the seats were gone!! Even showing my handicapped card they would allow me to sit in the handicapped section.

Tony... I think and hope Yonnie will correct me if I am wrong....but I think what Yonnie is referring to is... the Mariners Society now gives extra cruise points for sailing in suites AND for every $300 dollars spent on board... letting members move quicker up the Star program ladder

Thanks Joey -- You're right -- I should have said that they would NOT allow me to sit in the handicapped section even though I showed them my handicapped card.
