I read somewhere that HAL is having a couple of really big tenders (like Little Norway I and II) being built for HMC.
What do you think about that?
Or would you rather see HAL dredge the area like Disney did so that the ship could dock right there?

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
Do question about it. I would rather see a dock but I don't know if it could be done.Originally Posted by Krazy Kruizers
Absolutely do a dock. While it would be expensive, it would save wear and tear on the tenders ... and those tender pilots and crew could be doing other productive things all day long.
If that isn't in the stars, then large tender vessels are much to be preferred.

I agree with they want to spend the money then go for the BIG Dock. I am not sure if having the biggger boats, will it actually help when the seas are really rough to get more poeple off the ship on to HMC![]()

Docks would destroy the island. :thumbsdow It is entirely too small to dock a ship there. Where would you put the docks...
If you have parasailed there you will be able to see how small the island is...

I think the new tenders would be a huge improvement for getting on and off the island. With the bigger tenders they can use planks to get on and off, no matter the tide level or ruff seas. Making it more possible to stop there on schedule days!![]()
