It's rare when a HAL ship stops in San Francisco -- the only time we stopped there we just ate at one of the restaurants on Fisherman's Wharf.

On board the Delta King Riverboat is the Pilothouse Restaurant which dishes up fresh seafood, its signature clam chowder, and steaks.

There used to be an excellent Mexican (!) restaurant with Baja specialties right in old town Sacramento. But this is many, many (...many... many- you get the picture) years ago so it probably is of no use to you now. Sorry!

Here is a places I enjoyed and they are in the Entertainment Book for Sacramento. Book costs $45 and they say you get a $25 coupon if you order online. Maybe you have a friend in Sacramento who already has this book. It is very popular.
