suite question

I have a few question about the Suite .
The suite party at the Neptune lounge with the Captain. Is it formal or casual.

The breakfast in the morning at The Pinicale Grill. do you have to book a time or is it open sitting.

If I wish to hold a small party in my suite , How much in advance should I order the food and for how many people can I order for. Thank you

The suite cocktail party is smart casual -- no one wear shorts.

You do not have to make a reservation to have breakfast in the Pinnacle. The time for breakfast is the same time listed in the daily program for the main dining room -- usually 8 - 9 or 9:30 AM. The menu is the same as the main dining room.

If you wish to have a party in your suite, you need to make arrangements with the concierges before noon on the day you want to have the party. There may or may not be a fee -- it all depends on how many people in your party are suite guests. If there is just the 2 of you who are in suites and the rest are in regular cabins -- there is a fee -- the amount of fee depends on how much food you order. If you want a bar set-up -- not free -- costly -- also will need to tip the bar staff member who works the bar.

A couple of years ago one in our party decided to have a party as we left Ketchikan. Since 10 of us were in Delux suites and 4 were not -- there wasn't a fee. And and those of us that were in the suites brought our free bottle of champagne that we had gotten from the captain to the party.

Thanks for the Info. I didn't know that the Hor d'oeures were for suite people only. I was thinking of inviting over the cruise group on the last day and have a little party . I didn't know about the free bottle of Champagne. I guess it one per room. It will be nice to drink champagne on the Balcony at night.
I can't wait.

All PS, SA, SB and SC passengers get a free bottle of (cheap) champagne - compliments of the Captain & Hotel Manager.

You should also get a free bottle of Voss Water -- it is Artesian well water from Norway. I don't like it -- Joe does.

Since we are AMEX Plat members we also get a free bottle of (cheap) champagne.

We take both bottles to one of the concierges and exchange them for a good bottle of wine to have at dinner.
