I noticed that you have to enjoy the cruise. Does that mean our "Cruise from hell" would give me no credit?
Seriously, I think they have diluted the old qualifications and made it a lot harder to get higher status.
Actually it is easier to get to the 200 points/days than before. If you are in a Delux suite -- 1 extra point/day. For every $300 spent on board (not counting the Casino) -- you get more points.
For example -- on our 21 day cruise -- a person can get 42 points/days if they are in a delux suite. Then say if you spent $2100 -- which is possible because the tours also booked count -- a person would get another 7 points/days.
That means a person could get 49 points/day in just one cruise.
That means

Its means that with 2 cruises you could get your 90 day pin. some how it doesn'tseem to be right . I did 6 cruises with Hal and I have now 55 days. The one next month since I have a suite this will be double in days. which is 14days , plus the spending on tours and what ever else I buy . I could have 21 days to add on. Imagine KK if you were able to count your past cruises with this new system. you have 51 cruises with HAL you would have more than a 1000 days since you usually have a suite. they would have to give you a special medal.
Westerdam oct 25 2009 7 days Caribbean!!!!!!
Celebrity's Equinox 10 days Caribbean!! feb 26 2010
That was the point I was trying to make Lonnie. Most people don't take 21 day cruises or book suites. For the average 7 day cruise the average person who does not spend a fortune on shore excursions and alcohol, will only get 1 or 2 points per day.
