Do you think that the reason the Water Park was added to HMC was because Carnival Corporation knew that within a short time Carnival ships would be stopping there?

After all, they have more children on the cruises than HAL does.

I would say your probably correct.. Although HAL is trying to attract a younger crowd, while Carnival is trying to attract an older crowd.. Anyway, it is a good addition to the Island....

I just wonder if Carnival will continue using HMC after the summer months.

A couple of winters ago, Carnival had one ship stop there every once in awhile.

Our ship just happen to stop there the next morning after a Carnival ship and the people hadn't had time to clean up the island. It was mess after the Carnival crowd left.

Would not surprise me. The size of those monsters makes it prohibitive to put more than 2 on one of their islands at any given time
