HMC - Carnival - 2006
If you check Carnival's 2006 schedule, you will see that Carnival will be using HMC during the summer months when HAL isn't there.

I had mentioned last February on another website that I thought Carnival would use HMC when it was announced that HAl would not have any ships in the Caribbean beginning in 2006.

It makes sense from an economic perspective. They've invested lots in the island to let it set unused for very long. But it will sure take away the feeling of "exclusivity" when visiting.

As long as they are not there the same day which for right now looks like they will not be. It just gives those that work on the island a steady year round job. I am sure those living on the island and near are thrilled and they will possibley be making more money.
