    Tough question.

    Alaska -- scenery is beautiful.

Baltic and Med -- the ports.

Same with the Orinoco and South America.

Just can't pick one favorite cruise.

Lulu, I've only been one one HAL cruise, and I loved the itinerary. Paul Theroux wrote a book about the UK called Kingdom by the Sea, because British history has been so influenced by the sea. We traveled all over the UK and Ireland, and got to learn so much history.

My favourite was a few years ago on the Ryndam a 14 days cruise in the Carribean. that was my longest cruise at the time. to me it was the perfect ship. just the right size. i went solo on this cruise. i never felt alone . everybody was friendly.

Last Year we took the last portion of Voyage of The Vikings on HAL Maasdam.
We joined the ship in Rotterdam Holland. The ports of call were Cherbourg, Milford Haven Wales, Dublin, Liverpool. Belfast, Faroe Islands, Rekjavic Iceland, Nanortalik Greenland with a trip through the Prince Christansen sound (Glaciers and icebergs everywhere Amazing!) Then St. Johns Newfoundland, St. Pierre and Miqelon, Bar Harbour and Boston.
    We absolutely loved it!
We are booked on the same ship this year but Canad new England cruise.
We have done a fair amount of cruisingincluding 6 transatlantic crossings. Nothing compares to voyag of the Vikings.

Our first cruise in 01 on the Veendam. The crew was amazing, the ports were fun, the food was great, and everything was new to us.

A far cry from the Cruise from Hell on the Noordam last year!

Anything on the Noordam before this Noordam. We did a few cruises on that ship and we loved the size and overall feel of the ship. I still can't get excited about the Vista Class size ship and that isn't considered big when I see the size of some other ships

The old Noordam is a fascinating ship. Did you know it was the biggest ship in the HAL fleet when it was built? It became the smallest ship at the end of its career.
