WALES could become a major cruise destination to rival anywhere in the world, it was claimed last night.
As the 200m-long cruise ship Maasdam docks at Milford Haven today carrying 2,000 passengers, those leading the drive to attract a growing cruise market to Wales say the country could prove a sought-after alternative to places like the Caribbean, Alaska and the Mediterranean.

We checked the prices for the 2009 35 day cruise -- for a Delux suite -- they are way out of line for this ship.

Thankfully we have been to Wales via a land cruise many years ago.
