    Question on balcony cabins

We are thinking of doing a Vista ship and looking at a VE cabin. Do the lifeboats interfere in the view other than looking straight down from the balcony edge?

The lifeboats are "tucked" in about 90%.

Other than not being able to look directly stright down to the water, you will not have any problems watching the ocean and anything as your approach a port - if it is on your side of the ship.

Like KK said .... You'll have NO PROBLEM. Even looking down they are "tucked in". Go For It!

Even from the Rotterdam Deck we can't see directly down to the water when we stand by the railing.

Janice -- when do you cruise on the Noordam?

We're putting together a CLF group cruise on either the Noordam or the new Ruby Princess for fall of 2009. Both are really great ships and itineraries but HAL does have the plus of HMC.
