    HAL and Caribbean

Went on m.s. Zaandam last month for 7 nights. Ship was beautiful, staff were great, food even better!! Very organized and efficient. Lots of activities all day long. Got great price on-line and hope to go again by end of year. Will look to HAL again.

I will probably look closely at what HAL has to offer in the Caribbean in 2006. It will be 5 years and we thoroughly enjoyed their ships and the experience on our previous cruises.

Sadly, HAL will have no ships in the Caribbean in the summer of 2006. We may have to bite the bullet and do the Canal or Hawaii next year.

They do tend to send a lot of their ships to Alaska for the summer

Welcome to CLF. I am a big fan of HAL, particularly the Volendam. It's still a quality cruise line although changes are happening. But the service is great, food is very, very good and the shows are really okay. I don't like traditional dining so I mostly choose to sail Princess for the PC dining, HAL is trying to provide dining suitable to those like us in the Lido at dinner hour. Did the Zaandam have the gorgeous floral displays as on the Volendam? They are all over the ship and some are almost breathtaking. And there is always a small boquet in the cabin.

    Upcoming Cruises:

    March 2, 2008 - Caribbean Princess
