Hello and welcome to CLF!! I am not on this sailing but I was on the Holiday in October...it is a much smaller ship and not like all the other Carnival ships I have been on but we had a blast still. is your cruise going to Cozumel?
Do you both love Carnival cruises?

Yes, we love them! But I have nothing else to compare it to really. :-)
We're going to Cozumel and Calica.
We've been on the Sensation which is small too and we loved it so I'm not too worried about the Holiday...except for it not having stabilizers! How was that?
My husband got pretty sick and we noticed alot others feeling bad. It was very noticeable coming into ports...all our stuff int he bathroom feel into the floor and hubby lost his toothbrush to the toilet
I was most disappointed with the food...buffet area was not what I expected. And if you work out, the gym is hopeless on the Holiday. Very OLD machines 3 of like 10 worked good enough to use more a long period of time...and no weight machines. We stayed in the hot tubs a majority of the time.

Did you husband take anything for sea sickness? We don't usually take anything. My SIL is going on her first cruise and I told her she might want to take something.
No we didn't take anything. We did not bring anything because he has never gotten sick before and he did not want to buy anything. He actually made it okay until the 3rd day...it was only a 4 night cruise so he "toughed" it out.
I would bring some just in case since lots can really feel it on this ship.

Ok! That stinks that the food and gym were disappointing! I'm still looking forward to it though!
Oh yes, you will still have fun...after all it's a cruise, hard to go wrong with that! I always like to know what to expect though.
If you have not planned what to do in Cozumel try swimming with dolphins at Chankanaub Park or go to Nachi Cocom, an all-inclusive beach club. Cozumel is one of my favorite ports and those are my 2 favorite places to go there!

Have you been to Paradise Beach? We were thinking about just going there and hanging out the beach and maybe doing some shopping. The other time we went to Cozumel we went to the Wyndham Resort with the day pass and we weren't impressed. I'd love to swim with the dolphins but we're taking our 7 month old and won't be able to do anything too cool,,,ha.
