Questions for m1ckey: Thanks for posting...when you have time you can do a longer post-LOL
What tour did you do in Progreso? We are thinking of doing the flamingo habitat, tour of the summer homes and beach break (I can't remember the name of it-but that is what we are doing--LOL)
How was the ship? We will be on Main Deck (outside cabin). What was your favorite part of the trip?
How much parking at the Mobile port? Is it covered?
Thanks for all the info...we leave soon...trying to pack...what do I need...what don't I need...I see a heavy suitcase in my future!!! I will over pack as usual...but my motto is I might need it, so I will take it! LOL

Loves to cruise!!!
We just got back from the Holiday and it was a wonderful trip. We loved the shows, food and entertainment. In Progresso we did the Progreso Resort Beach Break and it was a very nice all inclusive resort. We have photos if you would like to see them. In Cozumel we did a Dune Buggy and Snorkle Adventure and it was very fun. We started off in the dune buggies in a caravan and rode to see a mayan lighthouse, modern lighthouse and alligators then rode to a beach where we snorkled to a reef and had a Mexican lunch then we rode to see an area where the hurricane hit and rode back to shop. We were worried going on the Holiday from the reviews but we were very impressed. The only thing we really saw was yellow water in the toilet but didn't notice it anywhere else. This was our first cruise and people were complaining on the boat but we were thinking what is there to complain about. We absolutely loved it all. The parking I believe was $75 for the 5 days at the parking garage. The weather was in the 90's so it was perfect. My photos are posted MySpace.com - Shannon - 34 - Female - COLUMBIA, Tennessee - www.myspace.com/spylant I still have some work to do on them but they are there.
I will go and take a peak at them...I love photos! We booked our excursions last night on line through the carnival website. We are doing the (Progreso) Kodak off road truck ($67)...it visits the flamingos habitat and a tour of the Merida summer homes and the to a beach for a drink and a swim. Then for Cozumel we are doing the deluxe sail, snorkel and beach party ($57). We will still have a tiny bit of time to sightsee, but not much.
You are wonderful to give so much information! One last (I think) question...did the Holiday dock at the international pier in Cozumel or at Puerta Maya pier? You would know the difference by having to take a taxi ride to town, since international is by Carlos and Charlies.
Thanks again for taking the time!![]()
