Thought it would be interesting to see how many CLF cruisers have had either the H1N1 or Seasonal Flu Vacciane or both.

We've had both.
Hopefully, they'll be two less things we have to worry about getting on a cruise.
How about the rest of you?

We always get the seasonal flu shots. In fact, we got our flu shots as soon as they were available at the Health Department so we would be good to go for our cruise at the end of September.
We have not gotten the H1N1 because of some contraindications.
I took my daughter to get the H1N1 shot the first week the Los Angeles county health department started up their clinics. That's because of her respiratory problems and the fact that her pediatrician's office was not expecting to get their supply until mid-November (they didn't get the vaccine until a few weeks ago, I believe).
Hubby and I had discuss getting the seasonal shots. He didn't want to go through our doctor's office for whatever reason so I went online and found some local drug stores offering the shots for only about $10 more than going through our doctor. But being the needle-phobics that we are, we haven't gotten them.

Yes, on both. Always get the seasonal one ever since I got the flu twice in one season because I stupidly thought I didn't need it. Got the H1n1 because I'll be in Mexico in a couple of weeks.![]()

Yes to both. We always get the flu shot when it's available and this year we definitely wanted to get the H1N1 because we were going to spend a week in Tuscany and then take a transatlantic cruise. Unfortunately the H1N1 wasn't available for us "older" folks until we after we returned home. As soon as it was available we went to the health department. We got that one right before Thanksgiving.

Never had a flu shot in my life, nor have I ever had the flu in my life. Worst thing I ever had was a cold that lasted a whole week back in 1996. I must have good genes cuz I also have smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day for 35 years, drink like a fish, and only sleep about 5 hours a night.
