Absolutely John...I don't do suffering so if I feel sick I nip it in the bud straight away. I've seen people looking green they were so ill yet they were too tight to pay for the injection!

Interesting. I am wondering how much better the injection is than the pills. The injection obviously works, but I am wondering if it is better.

Well, if you get to the actual throwing up stage then it is difficult to keep tablets down but the injection works within 20 mins (well it does on me)

My question is this--how long do the bands work--will one band work for an entire 5 day cruise, or would I need multiple bands? Also, would I need to wear one on each wrist, or just on one wrist?
I've been on 3 cruises with the same bands. Until they stretch out the pressure is applied and don't need replacement. They come in pairs and I believe you are suppose to wear them on both wrists which I do. I usually put them on when I get on the ship and I do take them off when going ashore.

I use ginger pills. One at night and one in the am. I take them with food. As it seems to be better for me that way. In 2007 I went deep sea fishing, with the ship acting like a roller coaster. I had taken two the night before and two that morning,. Did not have any problem then.

I now take Avomine tablets with me and they have the same stuff in as the injection.
Avomine tablets contain the active ingredient promethazine teoclate, which is a type of medicine known as an antihistamine. It is used to prevent travel sickness and nausea.
