Favorite theme cruise?

I pick the marathon cruise, where you run at each stop and by end of trip complete an entire marathon. Here is my list for 10 most interesting.

Well.....I would love to do a pinochle cruise. But since that isn't on your list, I guess my next choice would be either Elvis or Richard Simons. On second thought, make that Elvis. If I'm going to cruise, I'm going to enjoy myself.

I'd love to do a Rock n' Roll cruise I even wrote the suggestion to a cruise line once. Theme night you know Prom Night (they could sell cosages and boutonnieres and then a sock hope. And, the entertainment could be people like Johnny Thunder and Oldies Groups. ANyway I thought it would be a good idea especially for those of us at a certain age!

I'm all for that. Over 29 now, so I should fit right in.

Ryan .... Fun and Interesting thread ... Thanks!

.... but ... but ... but ... Think I'd rather cruise with DALLAS-DIVA instead!

Hanna .... Bet with a bit of research we could find a theme cruise we'd REALLY enjoy!

I guess there are all sorts of imaginary ones - like a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders cruise? Dallas, I notice the Easter Eggs in your profile pic - anyone cruised over easter? Do they hide eggs and stuff on the ship?

I always have a story to tell. The year we moved to Dallas the company my DH worked for had a do for them at Texas Stadium. Several of the Cheerleaders and Jay Novacek and I believe Bill Bates were there. He came home very excited and with a whole roll of film ( it was in 1990). After the pictures were developed there was one with DH and one cheerleader , DH with the other cheerleader, DH with both cheerleaders, big smile on his face. After I got through looking at the pictures I said honey these are nice but I thought you said Jay Novacek and Bill Bates were there. Yep you guessed it not a single picture of the players.

Guess he had his priorities!

Interesting thread.

I do a Rock cruise every year, lol... We haven't done a party for dressing up yet... but we may if enough people are interested, LOL...

I have been on a cruise with football players and cheerleaders... the cheerleaders were actually the entertainment... they were not very good!

This year, I am doing Gary Hoey's 2nd Annual Rock the Waves... last year we left from Tampa, this year will be from Long Beach. We had so much fun... the fans are amazing and we all made new friends! Why do I do this? Gary is a GREAT guy...and all the band members are as well. He is family friendly, and all ages are welcome. The band mingles every day and night with the crowd onboard and are just GREAT!

A Dancing With The Stars Cruise. There is one going in 2011 on Explorer of the Seas. Maybe one earlier if can be organized.

Star Trek would be my second choice ( but not my wife's).
