Have you ever gotten so sick....

Have you ever gotten so sick on a cruise that you had to visit the infirmary? Was it expensive?

What do you do when you get sick on a ship? Do you try to hide it for frea that you'll be put into quarantine?

I've never been sick on a cruise before, aside from a little seasick, but one morning after we had some rough seas and high winds the line for the infirmary was down the hall as people were green in the face wanting sea sickness medication!

Sounds awful! I've read some real horror stories about getting sick on the ship. Fortunately ... I've never been sick!

I've never been to the infirmary. My friend has, not for sickness though.

We were on the Amsterdam - 21 day cruise when the Norvo broke out - very bad in 2002. Neither of us got sick but there were nearly 400 passengers and crew sick. Even had the CDC come on the ship because the illness wasn't ending.

    Shows were cancelled.

Infirmery - I've been there. Had an accident on HMC. Since it was their fault - didn't have to pay a dime for exrays or anything.
