Hubby feels the same way. And the girl isn't bothered -- maybe because she went on her very, very first cruise at minus five months of age.

For years HAL had a captain who was always seasick!! I can't remember his name so I don't know if he is still with HAL.

    But he loved the sea!!!

You have varying degrees of "sea Sick".
From just the balance type motion sickness to full blown Incapacitated Un able to function Seasick..
I guess it would just depend on how long it lasts and how much you are able to put up with..
My first ship was a Mine Sweeper. 183' long. We were in the Persian Gulf back in 89" and taking Very heavy sea's.. I was one of maybe 10 that didnt get sick..
Coming accross the Atlantic,, we were taking 40-50" Following sea's..We were like a cork in the bath tub.. You had the constant feeling of Surfing,, the wave would pick you up and we would actually "Ride" it for a little while..
I do have a video of this,, (if I can find it)..
On a side note.. we had to decomission the ship after returning from the Gulf due to the damage from the trans atlantic crossing.. That is how bad it was..
You see a cruise ship take a 15 deg. roll and You think WOW>>>
We recorded a 57deg. roll and lost most of the gear on the open weather decks..
The ship would total roll at 62deg.
