My cabin is in the middle of the ship on the Emerald deck so hopefully it won't be too bad. =(
We felt very little movement on the Caribbean Princess, only towards the back at night and then when we started to approach back home did I feel some in the theatre that evening. On the advice of several people here, I started Ginger caplets abouth two weeks before the trip and continue while on board. I tend to get car sick, but don't really know about boats! I felt fine the whole time I was on board! I have a cousin that swears by the wrist bands.

What kind of Ginger Caplets? Did you take them often (I'm wondering how many times a day to take them)

Just tonight I bought the Gravol brand Ginger Pills, not sure how well they will work though. Are there other kinds you guys recommend buying?

I get very very carsick, and was seasick once but it was VERY choppy water, and my whole party was sick. It was just an overnight ferry, not a large cruise ship. And it must have been bad for everyone to get seasick in our room. (there were four of us) I literally thought I was going to die. I couldn't even keep seasick pills down.

I have never thought of the ginger altoids. Great idea!
Daughters took a bottle of pickled ginger root on last cruise and said it worked like a charm
