Do you blow your diet while on a cruise?

So do you decide to just blow off your diet while cruising?

No -- we watch what we eat on a criuse because we are fortunate to be able to cruise more than once a year.

Of course...... We eat whatever we want.

My biggest down fall is ice cream. I have always loved it since I was a kid. I am not into cake, pies, or candy. When I am on a cruise I do not deny myself anything including ice cream. I have been known to eat only ice cream for lunch.

I actually find that a cruise is a great place to maintain healthy eating habits. Where else am I able to get so many types of fruits, vegetables and fish entrees available at all meals?? I try to maintain healthy eating habits on board, and get my fill of fruits and veggies but don't deny myself anything. Last cruise, I didn't even have an ice cream cone.

I think part of the key is that we are fortunate to get to cruise more frequently than some, so the food is not as much of a novelty.

I am all about leaving the diet at home! I have to agree that I enjoy the yummy fruits & veggies as well, but bring on 2 appetizers, salad, entree & 2 desserts for dinner!

YES!!! But in all honestly cruising frequently has helped this. I think one tends to want to try everything if they know they may not get a chance again in the near future. Last year we did 4 cruises and once again this year we have 4 booked and I have found in recent cruises since I know I have another coming up in a few months I don't have the desire to have to try everything and eat like crazy. I tend to skip the breads and may only order an appetizer and the entree but never ever skip dessert
