Total Magic

I can't think of a better name for this ship other than "Magic"! The Disney commitment to excellence greeted us as soon as we arrived. I had just injured my knee, and as soon as I got off the bus, the cast members were very accommodating. They obtained a wheelchair for me and helped me right through to the ship.

I love how DCL tries to bring their guests into their world. I was entering a world of luxury and...MAGIC! I was not there with children, yet I did not feel like I was out of place. I could enjoy the cute little princesses and pirates, yet when I wanted more peace and quiet, I simply went to the "adults only" sections.

The DCL rotational dining is amazing. I can't say which dining room was my favorite - they all rocked! Our waiters, Alvito and Carlos were the best! Carlos was from Colombia and he made sure I got my "100% Colombian coffee" with each dinner. I appreciate that the dining rooms that were included were so upscale! We were there on a "FAM" trip as travel agents, and were very pleased to meet two other couples at our table who were also travel agents. We had so much in common.

Hands down, my favorite part was the nightly shows. Almost each night they had a Broadway-style show in the Walt Disney Theater. I have been a director for several high school musicals and they even greatly impressed me! Since I had injured myself, I was not able to take the shore excursions, so this was a great way to be entertained without having to walk.

As a travel agent with a Disney specialty, I will be recommending this line first above all other cruise lines. It is truly worth it's price!

The ship is smaller than the Disney Dream, but it was still amazing!

Travelers are me, Phyllis; DH Jim and PTADQ-DD, Natalie, age 12. This is our 6th DCL cruise, 7th overall. After we stood in the driveway crying and waving to the pet sitter, who was taking our two four legged babies home with her, we jumped in the car...
