Enchantment ON the Seas

written by MaryE329 posted on 10/09/12

Our party had a couple of cabins on the enchantment of the seas across all cabin types and were satisfied with the staterooms. They were better than other cruise lines (Carnival), but not mind=blowing. Being in an interior we didn't spend much time in the room other than a few late night room service calls!

THe ship was great, very clean and perfect for our group of couples. The thing that stood out for us on this ship was the wide selection of late night bars and karaoke, also lounges with live music and shows. Never was there a dull night for us (we like to stay up), and we were always able to meet other people that were like-minded and wanted to have just as good as a time.

The service on the Enchantment really stood out to us. Every single staff person was courteous and went out of their way to help us. The dining room staff would try and accomodate every request and definitely had a good time serving us. You could tell that they helped each other out too, which was refreshing. We made sure to tip them well and to get photos before we left!

THe shows on the ship in the main theater were OK, but nothing to write home about. If you were looking to be distracted for a couple of hours of cover show tunes, then this would be perfect. But otherwise head to a lounge with live guitarists and enjoy thecompany of your friends.

Halloween cruise

We sailed the Halloween cruise out of Baltimore. Embarkation was a little different than usual, but went smoothly. When pulling up to the terminal, they take your luggage prior to parking, so make sure that you have your passport and sea pass paperwork...
