Daughter's Graduation Celebration Cruise

First of all the Disney Dream is an amazing and beautiful ship. Much larger than the Disney Magic on which we cruised in 2007. The location of our stateroom, 5158, was perfect. It was aft right by the aft elevators and stairs, but never had any excess noise from traffic. The stateroom itself was amazing. It has one of the extended verandas on Deck 5. The veranda is at least twice the size of a normal veranda. Very roomy. Loved sitting out there each morning with my coffee which was brought to me by room service, along with various danish, or cereal. You can walk from aft on deck 5 on the port side past the kids clubs and get to mid-ship. The dining rooms are fantastic. Loved all of them. Our servers, Jyssica (from Peru) and Simon (from England) were also fantastic. They helped me plan a little suprise celebration to celebrate my daughter's graduation. All of the shows on board are great! Especially loved "Dreams". We went to Ardastra Gardens in Nassau which was okay, then the bus driver took us on a tour of Nassau. It was interesting, but my daughter (who is special needs) was by then ready to be back on the ship, and complained the whole bus ride back which took a while. During our cruise, we ran into a few characters just by chance and was able to get pictures with them. They were very accomodating. All of the staff onboard were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. And then of course, there is Castaway Cay...we had two stops there on our cruise. This is my favorite Port...beautiful beach, great food. Just a really relaxing 2 days. My only regret is that I did not book another cruise while onboard. Other than that, we had a fantastic time!
