Cruise to Bermuda
written by ladyblu90 posted on 05/11/11
This was our second time aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. We sailed the Halloween Cruise to Bermuda. Port check-in and embarkation went smoothly and we were on board within minutes. The ship is older, but has been updated. Our room was clean and well kept. The recent upgrades include flat screen TVs. We attended the Halloween party, which was great. Most of the people seemed to be in costume. I convinced my husband to dress up and when we arrived at dinner dressed like pirates, the staff had a ball with us. Our dining staff and room steward took great care of us. The food from ship to ship varies little, so we know right away what we intend to have for dinner. Enchantment did not disappoint. The food was tasty, hot, and good sized portions. We went to MDR for the luncheon "Tutti" salad, where they make your salad to order. We try not to miss that. The spa/workout room are also well kept and everything was clean and in working order.
Note: if you intend to visit Bermuda, know that all the shops, attractions and straw market close at 5:00 PM, so get out there early. We did not take an excursion, but used the local bus and ferry service. We took a horse drawn carriage ride and the driver was very informative.
Happy Sailing!

We sailed the Halloween cruise out of Baltimore. Embarkation was a little different than usual, but went smoothly. When pulling up to the terminal, they take your luggage prior to parking, so make sure that you have your passport and sea pass paperwork...
Oasis "on" the SeasLast year, we had the pleasure of sailing on the Oasis of the Seas. The rooms were a tad smaller than on the rest of the line, but just as nice. We typically have a Junior Suite, but had a balcony superior on this cruise. The food was great and you had...

Our party had a couple of cabins on the enchantment of the seas across all cabin types and were satisfied with the staterooms. They were better than other cruise lines (Carnival), but not mind=blowing. Being in an interior we didn't spend much time in ...
