alaska cruise

I give full marks to Princess for fantastic cruise, well organised from the start at Vancouver to Anchorage. The ship was a delight and although we had around 2000 passengers , never crowded infact i often wondered where everyone was, we dined in the Provence Restaurant every night, enjoyed the choice of food . The selection of food in the horizon was first class, we had breakfast and lunch there and often popped in for tea and cake. Having a balcony was heaven looking at the scenery all the way, and the only thing i would change with our stateroom is being under the walkway above on the 12 th deck , you are sheltered if it rains, but it was in the way with some of my photographs, but a minor complaint The staff were very friendly. The shore excursions well organized and plenty of choice to suit everyone. We were lucky with weather, only rained one morning in Skagway, The Alaska trip is a wonder of the world and i am so glad i was there to see it all. A must do for any cruise fans, an adventure.

The first leg of our B2B was quite nice! Loved the ship! Island Princess is NOT a small ship! She is actually a bit longer (965 ft.) than Crown/Emerald/Ruby (952 ft.) ...just not as wide. Ideal for the Panama Canal! The Horizon Court Buffet is...
