WOW! what a cruise

I wonder if anybody remembers that I said I would be away for five weeks as from 8th January! I came back last Saturday 12th Feb. I had an amazing time on Oriana. I loved Jamaica Dunns River Falls visit. It rained nearly all day in St. Lucia. Shame about that one. Cozumel... well I did do some shopping in the town. Bit of costume silver jewellery and a sarong and T shirts! Great place to shop. The views on Tortola were stunning. Took the tour and went around hair pin bends all the way to the top so snapped up some good photos.

The highlight for me was a two day visit to New Orleans. Oh wow! Went to the French quarter of the city and shopped in the market. Had lunch on balcony in a large colonial style restaurant. Burgers were gorgeous and huge. Walked among the antique shops and watched street musicians and dancers on the streets. The only drawback, it was cold there but we soon forgot that. Fort Lauderdale beaches were fantastic. 23 miles of them. Sat outside in the sun as well at cafes having capuccinos! All in all a wonderful holiday and rather a long haul back to Southampton England. Last stop was the Azores.... didnt think much of that place and rained!

My cruise trip
