There were a few issues with this voyage, firstly that due to bad weather we sailed from the wrong dock. This caused a delay in boarding for many. As I get priority embarkation I was in the second batch to board so it did not cause me any problems.
Being a short cruise the service in the restaurant was not to it?s usual standard, which did not give a good impression to those new to Cunard.
The weather was lovely during the day, but there was quite a bit of movement on Monday night due to the previous night?s storm. This was mostly due to the ship moving slowly and taking 14 hours to travel 102 miles.
The entertainment was good, the only problem was I had seen the production show before, so I did not go to the show this time. I did enjoy watching the dancing in the Queen?s Room and listening to the music.
I enjoyed the cruise very much as I love QM2 and could see past the failings.

This was my third voyage on Queen Elizabeth and I like her better each time I sail on her. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The shows were quite good but I missed not having a speaker on board for the sea day. The food and service in the...
Canaries cruiseI had been upgraded to a D1 deluxe inside which is larger than the standard inside cabin and has a sofa. The entertainment was very good but some repeats from my last voyage on QE. The food and service in th dining room were up to the standard I...
Queen Victoria August cruiseIt was a lovely cabin in a nice location. Unfortunately, there was noise from the production shows and also when docking/leaving port. I enjoyed the shows on board even though I had seen them before. The food and service in the Britannia dinin...
Queen Elizabeth January 2012This was my first voyage on Queen Elizabeth so I was very much looking forward to it. My first impression was that she is almost exactly the same as Queen Victoria which is somewhat disconcerting as there are a few differences, the biggest of which ...

A very comprehensive review report is given in the Cunard Reports section under the title . There and Back Again, QM2/QV TA". a brief summary Accomodation. The in hull balcony was good for a transatlantic crossing. It wouldn't be that good for a hot...
Queens Grill funWe've done several voyages on Cunard. This time we upped for the Queens Grill. It was excellent. We always found we could opt off menu, if we chose. We'd always give a day notice to make it easier for the staff. The Queens Grill is always so relaxing. ...
Queen Mary 2 Ship VisitBack in March an envelope popped through the letter box inviting us to join Curnard on board one of their ships. We choose Queen Mary 2 but unfortunately had to wait until October! So on Saturday 15th October we headed to Southampton. QM2 had just retu...

Big Ship Little ServiceThis was our second transatlantic cruise on QM2. Previous cruise was fantastic and that was our reason to repeat the cruise with our teenage daughter only 8 months later. On our first cruise there was a documentary crew filming during the entire voyag...
Great - but too short! This was my 10th voyage aboard the QM2 and my sister's first. She was definitely impressed. Embarkation was quick since there were few passengers checking in at approx. 11:45 am. There were almost 1,000 in-transit passengers mostly British who had...
