Disney Cruise Line

The newest addition to Disney's fleet is The Disney Dream. With accommodation for 4,000 guests it is packed with fun and activities for all the family, while its decor evokes the classic era of ocean cruisers with art deco grandeur throughout.
The Disney Dream features the first ever water coaster at sea in the form of the 765 ft 'Aqua duck'. There's entertainment for kids of all ages in Nemo's Reef play area, the Arr-cade video games centre, the Edge tweens only play space and the It's a Small World Nursery. Meanwhile, parents in need of some personal time can head to the Quiet Cove Pool, or check into the Senses Spa for a pampering. Alternatively the more active guest can head for Goofy's Sports Deck to shoot some hoops, sink some puts on the mini golf green or try their hand at the sports simulators.
The unique design sensibilities persist in Disney Dream's restaurants, be it the majestic Royal Palace, the Versailles-inspired Enchanted Garden or the bright and beautiful Animator's Palate Restaurant. After dinner head to the classic Walt Disney Theatre or catch a 3-D film in the Buena Vista Theatre. Adults can head to one of the many bars and clubs aboard. Highlights include Pink, the Skyline Panoramic bar and the Evolution Lounge
There is a great variety of Disney Dream Staterooms to choose from. All are elegantly designed with families in mind. Some have the option of private verandahs and concierge service. All inside Staterooms feature a Virtual Porthole, providing guests with a real-time view from the outside.

by stevek2012 (September 2012)

Sunday we hit the port at around lunchtime, and were on board to hang out and catch the lunch buffet. We went up top to get a good view of the ship shoving off, and our dinner plan took us to the Animators palate restaraunt...where we met "Charlie", our server. At...

Bahamas - Disney Dream 3 night

by keladewig (March 2012)

Background Information Despite being big Disney fans, we'd never taken a Disney cruise. However, hubbie came home from the 2011 D23 expo armed with a 2012 cruise brochure, and that just set planning into motion! We knew we wanted to sail on the newest ship (at the...
