Pacific Dawn

4.0

(official star rating - max 6)

P&O Cruises

Cruising the South Pacific Islands, the P&O Pacific Dawn prides herself on the distinctive design of architect Renzo Piano. The emphasis throughout is on entertainment and luxury for all the family. The Sun Deck features children's centres catering to the needs and wants of all ages of children. HQ is a cool hang out for teenagers with activities and computer games, Shark Shack provides entertainment for seven to 10 year olds and Turtle Cove provides supervised fun and games for the younger kids.
For the energetic passenger, Pacific Dawn provides plenty of activities. There's a fully equipped sports deck where you can jog or join in a table tennis competition. You can also do some lengths in one of the two on-board swimming pools. Afterwards, head to the Lotus spa for a good pampering. Alternatively, do some boutique shopping or search for a good book in the library. In the evening, you're spoilt for choice aboard the Pacific Dawn. There's fine dining in the Palm Court dining room but if that doesn't take your fancy, the Bravo Trattoria does pizzas, there's the casual Cafe del Sol or the classic Seafood and Steakhouse. After dinner, head to any one of the nine bars before watching a performance at the show lounge, having a boogie at the Dome Lounge or trying your luck in the Legends Casino.
The Pacific Dawn runs cruises ranging between one and two weeks in the South Pacific, taking in the island paradises of Fiji and New Caledonia.
