ONE DAY ONLY Ukelele Sale - 21 Jan 06

From Midnight Saturday to Midnight Sunday US Eastern time - all day SATURDAY, you can get a Ukelele for $29.99 plus on $5 shipping. I do not know if they will mail to Hawaii (ironic, huh?) or Alaska, or outside the US.

If you miss Hawaiii, or want to dream of a Hawaiian cruise, go to http://www.goingtoday.com/ and get your ukelele. If you get one, let me know if you like it.

Patty, I was sorely tempted, but I had pity on my husband. Every day, boxes are dropped off by UPS, the mailman and Fedex with things I have been buying for birthday presents, stuff to send to the orphanage in Roatan, and stuff we need around the house.

As long as I can explain where everything is going, (or it is small enough to not take up a lot of room), he's fine. I have no good explanation for a ukelele, and he would probably make me throw something out to make room for it.

Can't remember what hubby paid for our girl's uke this summer. He was going to get her a kid's guitar when we went to a music store but she decided she wanted the ukelele. She actually brought it on our cruise (hubby brought his guitar) and both hubby and she took the uke class on board at least once. The teacher passed out instruments to all the participants (except H and J, of course) and pointed out these were cheapie Wal-mart types...
