Thread: Black Sand Beaches in Hilo

Just wondering if anybody has put their toes in the black sand beaches in Hilo. If so were are they located at, would love to put these tiny toes in the sand

Not sure of the exact name and location of the beaches. We do love black sand(broken up Lave from the ocean) and would love to put my toes in the sand again. A good site to find info on the Islands is www.gohawaii.com.

We found a lot out before we went through that site.
