Half Moon Cay Receives Best Private Island Honors

For the past 11 years, Porthole Cruise Magazine has recognized Half Moon Cay as the industry’s Best Private Island. Half Moon Cay features 15 beach-front, air-conditioned private cabanas, a natural 700-acre lagoon, a new Captain Morgan on the Rocks Island Bar and fun-filled excursions for nature lovers and adventurous travelers alike. Here guests can enjoy fascinating tours on the island including horseback riding by land and sea, snorkeling and swimming with stingrays in a secluded cove, biking tours, the AquaTrax watercraft adventure tour and parasailing.

Just adding ... The buffet (outdoor BBQ) at HMC was by far the best we've had on any of the cruise ship private islands.

I would really like to get to Half Moon Cay one day. I love CocoCay, and Princess Cays is pretty nice, too. But I keep hearring really good things about Half Moon Cay.

Have to agree, the BBQ was very good. And being served on the beach made it more interesting (and then there was the chicken that kept coming to our table and keeping us amused)
