Some of the mates joining us on our Westerdam cruise are very excited about the horseback excursion on Half Moon Cay and asked me about cost. I can't find it anywhere, so wondered if any of you have an estimate on the cost per person. I am interested in either a cabana or a clam shell and was wondering about the cost of those. I love this board it is really helpful and friendly.

Saddle up for the experience of a lifetime! After a short tram ride to the corral you'll receive an orientation before setting out on a ride along winding trails up to the highest point on the island for a panoramic view of Half Moon Cay and the surrounding islands before you continue along the bay, back to the corral. Enjoy a refreshment as your horse is "dressed" for swimming in a special saddle pad and a rope halter (no saddle), then you'll venture into the ocean for the sensation of riding a horse while it's swimming! Ride the tram for the trip back to the Welcome Center.
NOTES: Wear your swimsuit under jeans or long pants. Bring tennis shoes, sunscreen, towel and camera. Sandals not permitted. Minimum age is 10 years. Maximum weight is 250 lbs.

Enjoy the ultimate in luxury during your stay on Half Moon Cay with the use of your own private cabana. Board the first tender ashore, or have priority tender use, to maximize your time by being the first guests to arrive. For your comfort, you will find your cabana outfitted with a refrigerator, ceiling fan, air conditioner, table and chairs inside, and deck chairs and a misting shower on the private terrace. You will be provided with fresh fruit, vegetables with dip, and chips and salsa to snack on as well as an assortment of soft drinks and bottled water to quench your thirst. Beach towels, floating mats, and snorkel gear are also included for your use throughout the day.

The Princess package for the Bungalow (which is like the cabana) is only $199 for the bungalow, not per person. Extra amenity package can be purchased.
I appreciate your quick response to all of those questions, KK! I read it to mean up to 4 people were $249, but if that is not the case, WHOA. There are several in my group, but not all would be interested in the cabana, but would probably be around it part of the time, not sure what we would need in add-ons. I wonder if the clam shell is $28 since it holds 2 loungers or $14? I am probably over analyzing the entire thing, just thought I would try and get a feel for what we would be spending there.
The Cabana price of $249 is for all 4 people not per person which is about $62.25 per person.
There are different colored cabanas and in front of most of them there are clam shells.
So you could rent one Cabana for $249 and one clam shell for $14 and everybody could just move between them.
The fresh fruit, dip, etc., is enough for only 4 people, but there is nothing to stop you from bringing extra food down to the cabana for everyone to eat.
What is interesting - last summer when Carnival used HMC, they charged a lot less for their passengers to rent the same cabanas.
Don't know what they will charge this summer.
Well....Carnival.....HAL....there is a difference in everything else, so I imagine the service and amenities that come with the cabana are relative to the charge that each line makes.
