Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I see that you are new to CLF -- Welcome.

You talked about the cabanas that hold 4 people. There are 15 of them.

The regular package is $249 total for all 4 of you. This includes fruit, vegetables and dip, chips and salsa, a few soft drinks and bottled water. You have to go to the BBQ yourself for lunch.

The butler package is extra - another $270 total for 4 people. You get to pre-select your menu:
Champagne, drinks from house liquor and house wines

    Exotic Fruit Skewers
    Mini Lobster Club Sandwiches
    Gazpacho

Choice of Brochette BBQ Jumbo Prawns, or Brochette Citrus Chicken Breast, or 5oz. Cajun Sterling Silver Filet Mignon

Choice of "Drunken Whale" Fresh Fruit in Myer's Rum or Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Coulis

You'll also find salsa/chips and fruit waiting for you in the cabana. The butlers will run and get you any of the drinks you want...from water, to soda pop, to alcoholic beverages.

That was the menu as of late 2007. You will have 1 butler who comes to your cabin and excorts you to the tender and your cabana - he stays with you all day. The other butler will already be at the cabana and stays long enough to see that your lunch is served and cleaned up.

Years ago they did bring you the buffet food to the 4 person cabana's. Now many have said "no" while a few others have said they tipped extra right away and asked for food to be brought to them and it was. So I guess you will need to ask your cabana boy if he will, if he says no, maybe a tip will change his mind.

We have done it both ways and walking to the buffet was not bad at all We loved delivery better though We did it a few years ago so things may have changed but if you look at my photo links, there is 3 albums of photos for HMC from many posters there

Thanks for the info. Have booked a cabana for our Feb cruise. Not the butler though. We will walk to the buffet. The only reason I was asking about having the food brought is because my husband is blind and thought it was be easier on him but am sure we will manage nicely. This website is very helpful. Appreciate the responses.

Please be sure to ask your cabana guy for assistance getting you both your lunch, I'm sure he will do it for you!

Also if your cabana is too far from the tender area (there are 15 cabanas, 1 being closest to tender area & restrooms), there is a tram ride that will assist you, all you need to do is ask at the info both when you get off the tenders

Have a great time!!! it is a very beautiful beach!!!!

We will be at Half Moon Cay first Friday in December. I have rented the Oasis. I will give a report after I return. Hopefully, the experience will be as good as I have heard. There will be two ships in port that day so it is probably good we booked it. I am sure the Barbeque are will be crowded with possibly 4,000 guests ashore.
