What a way to bring back memories of paradise on a dreary day! HMC is heavenly...and the barbecue on the day you visit is not to be missed! Nothing like enjoying a delicious meal and refreshments with sun shining and breezes blowing. When we were there, there was an excellent steel band on the ship for the cruise and they provided the music.
We did not rent a clam shell or cabana and were perfectly happy alternating between sun and shade from the trees. Have fun looking forward to a wonderful part of your vacation!

Half Moon Cay will be used by Carnival during the months that HAL is not in the Caribbean as HAL has totally pulled out for the Summer. I do not know if Carnival ships will continue to visit after HAL returns to the Caribbean in the winter.
Carnival cruisers are in for a real treat !!!!!

Sher, I had no idea! Thanks for the info?

I know that HAL used to use the Zuiderdam during summers in the Caribbean, alternating eastern and western routes. The Zui went to Alaska this year right?

Wow, they're really concentrating their ships in Europe and Alaska for the summer aren't they? Interesting!

I agree, the Carnival passengers are in for a real treat!

Hey, I tried to copy and paste...and it worked...there was a shower....a refrigerator and the price included floating mats, snorkel equipment for 4, snack food..nachos and salsa, fresh fruit, bottled water....sodas...

Hubby said it is overpriced and worth every penny....it was $219
