As many of you know I love champagne especially Spumanti or Asti as long as it is not overly sweet. Well there is the Spumanti that HAL and Carnival and possibly others serve that we really like and usually have 1 to two bottles a night. Last March while on the Westerdam to our amazement they did not have it, and all the champagnes they served were rather dry. We were actaully quite up set, then we go on the Maasdam in July and they had it. We were so excited I think we had close to two bottles Everynight. Well, I just assumed that it bad timing and they just did not have it on the Westerdam so I figured they would have it on the Oosterdam last month. Unfortnately they did not. Our last night on the Oosterdam we were walking on the Main Deck near the offices and the Food and Beverage Director was sitting at his desk. So I went in and started to talk to him and asked him about our Champagne and told him we would be returning Feb 4th. He gave me his business card and told me to have our TA contact Seattle to request to have plenty of bottles on hand and also send him an email with the request. My TA did this this past Monday and on Tuesday she got an email back from the Food and Beverage Director stating to let us know he would make sure he had planty of our Spumanti on hand.

I just thought that if any of you had a special request you might want to contact your TA to request the item. It seems they are more than happy to accomadate. We were thrilled with the quick responce and are now thrilled that we know what to do and make sure we have plenty of our favorite bubbly on hand

Actually you only need to call Ship Services at 1-800-541-1576 and order alcohol for your cabin.

That's what we do.
