Question Santo Tomas de Castilla? Anyone been there yet?
Hi Guys,

We are going on the Norwegian Sun next week and one of our ports is Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala. Has anyone been there yet? What should we do? Appreciate all of your input. Will give a report when we get back on February 4th.

We have been to this Port. We took the Rio Dulce Tour (a river tour in the morning with lunch then on land to see some ruins. Guatamala is very scenic. While on the river portion we actually saw dugouts being used! This appears to be the only tour worthwhile at that Port. Everybody who didn't go was complaining about whatever they did instead.

Go to "Other Ports of Call" and see my thread about this place. Its terrible. They should drop this port. Its not my idea of a Caribbean paradise.
