    Santa Tomas De Castilla

We are looking at 2 excursions here:

Quiriqua Archeologial Ruins and the Waterfall Discovery.

Has anyone done either of these? If you had - what were they like? If you have done both - which would you recommend?

I can not swim and DH is no longer permitted to snorkle so please don't suggest anything like that.

    Thanks

I dunno if the Waterfall Discovery is the same as what I did booking at the dock. No swimming required, walking is, although the walking part did a full circle, so you could just sit at a few spots and the group would pass by you later.

Thanks for the wonderful information and pictures. I can tell you really like to take pictures!!

I think those are the falls that HAL offers as a tour.

Yonnie, did you do either the Ruins or the Waterfall tour? If so, what was your experience?

Are you leaning towards one or the other at this point, KK?

This is our first time to this port.

Signed up for a tour the other day and for the life of me I can't remember what we are going to do. The information is in the other room and DH is sleeping so I don't want to disturb him.

Okay - DH woke up in time for Happy Hour.

In the morning we are going to do the San Felipe Fortress and Rio Dulce tour. Then get back on the ship for a quick bite to eat. Later in the afternoon we are going to do the Trolley Tour to see what the town looks like.

I have read a little about the San Felipe Fortress . . . It sounds like it might be interesting.
    Please let us know!
