    Grenada Shopping

According to the Grenada Explorer website -

Grenada offers a colorful palette of Souvenirs.
Wood carvings and paintings, ranging from naive to sophisticated, jewelry , from natural materials to Emeralds and Gold. Batiks in the fabulous colors of the Caribbean and of course Spices, Jams, Jellies and our Plantation Rum's.
Has anyone brought back any of these treasures from Grenada?

Caribbean Shopping in Grenada lists several shops that sound pretty interesting.

Handmade Jewellery made from Copper, Silver, Brass and Gold filled wire, with Shells, Seeds, Beach glass, multi-coloured Stones from secluded beautiful Caribbean Beaches and of course magical semi precious stones..

    Tom...

It's all good, if the sun is warm, the water is blue, I'm on a cruise ship drinkin' a Long Island Ice Tea or two!

If your cruise stops in St. Kitts, there is a Batik shop on the typical tour. I would buy the Batik there.

The usual tour route includes some lovely gardens, in which is a Batik Boutique. There is someone " Batiquing" to demonstrate.

They have only batik, things to frame, scarves, dresses etc. I think their stuff is very nice. I don't know if it is actually better quality than what they have in town in Granada, but it is appealing.

All I have bought were things to frame. And we framed only one so far! (And that was several years ago!!!) A couple of squares of marine life would look good in a bathroom, but they are in a drawer somewhere!!!
