Since I will only be in Mykonos from 1:00-9:00 pm, should I bother trying to take an excursion out to Delos? I am fascinated by Greek Mythology and culture, but will this be overkill after seeing athens and pompei, etc.? I've heard that the trip to Delos is very hot too. But if the ruins are spectacular I don't want to miss it.

If I don't go to Delos, what is there to do in Mykonos? I know there are the famous windmills, but what else is there?
