Can anyone suggest the best time to visit the Grek isle I really dont care for touring in 90 degree heat

"the best time" will then be from mid september to beginning of June.
Remember some of the island "shut down" in the winter time due to less tourists.

as lars says stay away from july /august. also depends on which island group your thinking of

True - the islands shut down in the winter...and they are hot in the summer. The last time we were there was in October, and it was absolutely delightful. About 70 in the daytime, cool enough for a jacket at night. Bright sunshine. Perfect!

indeed we were in the dodecs again in early/mid june . perfect weather75 to 85 f, with a breeze. but if you'd been up in the N.E. aegean islands knock off 12 degrees and add some rain.
