The snorkling there used to be very good. Over the years people have done some not so good things and it is just so so now.

There are more than enough chairs now. But, all the umbrella were damaged a few years ago by a hurricane. Sadly, they have not been replaced.

Good News on having LOTS of beach chairs. Even back then, we (children were with us) thought the nice sandy beach and water were fine. Our problem was the lack of other things ....

So far they have not been replaced. I don't believe it is a very high priority for NCL. There are some umbrellas on tables away from the beach and people have been known to move these for their convenience.

It's been 12 + Years since we've been there! 
To us the beach area was fine! 
What improvements have been made from what we remember? 
Too bad about the umbrellas! Maybe they'll be replaced soon ....
