    Grandeur to Bermuda 7/5/2008

Close to 20 of us will be celebrating my inlaws 50th Wedding Anniversay on this 5 day cruise to Bermuda. Just wondering if anyone else is planning to make this trip with us. This will be our 5th cruise and our first time with Royal Caribbean. We will also be bringing our 8 and 10 year old this time which will be quite different from the trips we have taken sans kids. Any othere preple from Virhginia planning to come?

Maybe I should have asked if there were any people from anywhere who were going on this cruise? On our Princess cruise we had tons of people posting. Should I be worried about the lack of posters on this line?

i just took a cruise on grandeur of the seas for my honeymoon july 2007 it was amazing but for kids it has a nice arcade and games and a pool out side on deck for kids only also inside it has 2 hot tubs and a pool for adults only, also there are some adult shows only that you would love but dont take the kids to. you will be docking in the royal port in bermuda since this ship is to big, we took the fiary over to hamilton in bermuda which is nice, but stay with your group over there, we didnt do no excursions or anything just ventured off by our selves. where the ship is docked there is a snorkel beach park walking distance. which we loved but bring water shoes for that beach to many sea shells

Thanks Heather! My hubby and I had a one day stay in Bermuda last summer on another cruise. Thanks for the iinfo aboutthe snorkel park. I can just hear my kids complaining about hurting their feet on the shells. Our cruise leaves out of Norfolk, Va. instead of Baltimore. That is nice for me because I live outside of Charlottesville, Va. Do you remember which shows were the adult only ones? lisa

Sounds like a plan. I will let you know what we think when we get back. I am finding it so interesting that I am not getting to many hits for the roll call on this line. When I took my Princess cruise last June we had a super active roll call. I think we had over 2,000 posts. You can definitly learn a ton on these boards. Good luck hunting.quote=Gypsykfrpa;1042301]Hi: My husband and I are taking this cruise too, However, a week later. We leave on July 19th out of Norfolk. 5 days. Thanks for the help Heather. My kids would like the musicals. They would not be up at midnight so the adult only shows would not even be a possibility. I wondered if there was a magician or something of that nature. The kids love magic. I think this cruise will fly by. The last cruise we took was a 9 day cruise on princess. Five days is going to fly by. Lisa
