no no magician shows that i know of were on the boat, but there is a ocean club for kids so i think they do exciting stuff where the kid section is on the boat, one day i saw a bunch of kids on the boat having a water balloon contest it looked like the kids loved it. i know at certain times they have some kids shows only at one of the lounges, like you would see on disney chanel or nickledon the show looked fun i peeked me head in it because i thought it was for everyone but singers and dancers came out entertaining the kids. so yes there are also kids only shows to. they will love it.

    Hi Gypsy and Asil!

If you haven't found it yet, we have a Cruise Places area, with forums for the various ports.

Here's the link to the Bermuda forum: http://www.cruiselinefans.com/bermuda/

If you have specific questions about Bermuda, you might try posting them there... or you might enjoy seeing what's alaready there.

    Hi Lisa,

I didn't see the post here til today... what a coincidence... I have a group sailing on this ship this date for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration...LOL...

There will be plenty onboard for the kids to do, believe me! The beaches are beautiful in Bermuda and if you can swing it, do the dolphin excursion with they...they will get a kick out of it.

This cruise will fly by compare to your 9 night one...but it is going to be a blast for you and your family.

    Hi Dolores,
Too funny! Guess where we are all going tomorrow? Germany for 2 weeks. Erik has an Aunt who lives there. She will be our own personal tour guide. The kids are so excited about missing school for an extra week after spring break. Never been there so i am looking forward to seeing the sights, drinking the beer and eating all of the yummy food. Will check in when I get back. Lisa

Review Of Grandeur & Bermuda Cruise 7/19

Hubby and I just returned on Thurs. from cruising the Grandeur of the Seas out of Norfolk to Bermuda. It couldn't have been better from all the info I recieved off of this board...embarkation...sailing...room...food...ente rtainment...casino...staff and service...Bermuda...tours...EVERYTHING WAS A-1. We had an inside cabin, which we found that we liked because it was easy to sleep. The bed was wonderful and I wish I had it here at home. Our cabin staff was incredible. My hubby found that he could smoke in the Schooner Bar, drink his N/A Beer and watch the world go by when he wasn't doing anything else. He loved it. He found a kindred spirit in the Mike and Conrad who work there. They kept up both happy. He even won in the Texas Hold Em-$200 one night and bingo for $276. The Royal Dock Yards in Bermuda were great. Shopping, swimming, art galleries, and nightly entertainment sponsored by RCI. (band, magician, juggler, and Gombah dancers from Bermuda. Great outdoor show. (could use more chairs) The cruise director (Dan, Dan the Party Man and his staff Jamie, Mama, and Princess Belle) were outstanding with the entertainment. Trivia, Love and Marriage Show, and the Quest were so much fun. The real treat was the RC singers and dancers and the Tribute to Broadway. Everyone was a talent unto themselves. Highly entertaining. Especially the lead singers who sang solo, and duets. Hubby and I cannot wait to go back. Infact, would take the exact same cruise again. ***** stars to RCI...the Grandeur...Staff & Crew. I need to do a special shout out to Mary Goodwin (RCI staff in Norfolk) for finding that piece of luggage we left in customs. Dining room Food could have been a little more upscale, but very minor complaint. If any questions about this cruise, give me a holler. Thank you, Kathy

That is one port we have not gotten to! Have been diverted because of weather on a TA where we were supposed to have an overnight. bummer.
