Those pics you mentioned - everyone should have a look. Makes you want to go there. There was one that really struck me... hope you don't mind my putting it here....

Sheila...that cliff, you could walk down...there was an abundance of cool stuff...we got great conch shells there...

Yes - I just LOVE the water in the Caribbean and the Bahamas! I always have to get IN it!

We went to Govenor's Beach! Loved it!

Yes, from the beach, in the dark rocky area in the water. Lots of different colored fish, some coral, sufficent for beginners. We heard when we returned to the ship that snorkeling and scuba off gov beach in the deep water at drop off was awesome!

Hint: we ordered from room service with our wake up coffee, some rice crispy cereal, emptied into baggies we brought on the cruise and fed the fish during snorkeling
