Grand Princess itinerary change

My TA just called me to let me know that the Grand Princess western caribbean itinerary will substitute Play del Carmen for Grand Caymen. This will give more time at Playa and other ports and Princess is giving $75 pp shipboard credit

Known that for about 2 weeks now. Port fees, too many ships there and high seas are why the Grand isn't going there anymore this season.

I called Princess 2 weeks ago and they told me Grand Caymen was still a go. I find it interesting thta they are not straight with PX.

I am supposed to go to Cozumel, Grand Caymen, Jamaica, and Princess Cay next month on the Star. Why is the Grand not going to Grand Caymen? Will the Star also switch itineraries?

CP says it's because of crowds, high port fees and rough water. I have heard this on other boards too. Not sure how the Star will be impacted.

You won't miss anything except high prices. If you want to swim with the stingrays, there are other ports to do this in. Grand Cayman has no bargains, believe me.

Try this one also...www.playa.info ...click on the forum & check with James (owner) about their tours...They offer some of the best excursions you'll find on any island

Playa is also one of my top 10 places to go...#1 is St.Maarten
