Looking for info on minisuites on Emerald Deck (aft) on the Grand. Also, have the minisuites had the bedding upgrades? Thanks.

Mini-Suite With Balcony
Twin beds that make up into a queen-size bed. Separate sitting area with sofa bed and desk. Balcony. Two televisions. Refrigerator. Walk-in closet. Bath with tub and shower. Approximately 323 square feet, including balcony.

Kathy, Most of the mini's have been upgraded or will be by the start of the year. The only difference in the emerald vs dolphin decks is the covered balconys. The disadvantage might be that they are above the lounge where they play music til later in the evening. So if you are a light sleeper or early to bed person it might not be for you. The square footage inside is exactly the same as other minis.

BTW- Just got off the Westerdam and had a FABULOUS cruise on her. Wow, was I ever spoiled. Enjoy her.

Karen - Thanks for the info. My daughter and SIL have booked a mini on the Emerald deck. It's __21. Above and to the starboard side over the Vista Lounge. Hope they aren't too bothered. They usually are not back in their cabin until after 10 p.m.

Glad to hear about the Westerdam. We have sailed 4 times on the Volendam, and love that ship as well as HAL. Food is fabulous, isn't it? So are the new matresses. And the line is truly a cut above the rest. We are in a SY suite on the Westerdam and look forward to that.
