We are sailing on the Golden April 1 to Hawaii, on the Coral to Alaska on May 17 which will include a cruisetour (our third cruise to Alaska) and then on the Caribbean to Canada/New England in September.

Shirley .... How wonderful! Will be very interested in how you enjoyed each of these...PLEASE ....
LuLu ... Visit SOUTH CAROLINA!

OVER 40 (started young) Princess, Celebrity, RCCL, HAL, NCL, Costa, Disney, Carnival, Sitmar (Princess bought), and (a very long time ago) SS Bahama Star
Bliz .... Glad you're giving Princess another try!
We're "big time" Pincess Fans ... but don't expect too much from either of their Speciality Restaruants! On Emerald Princess ... nicer than on the Sun Class ship ... but we were not happy with the food... no better than Sterling ...
We loved both Speciality Restrauants on MarinerOTS!
.... BUT the food served in the regular dining room (in our opinion ... if steaks weren't ordered which were bad on both) was MUCH better on Princess than on RCCL ships.

It's true, the memories of the first cruise are hard to top! Our first cruise was in 1973 and I can still remember how excited I was.

We were on the Island to Hawaii and I've been checking the Princess site even day just about to see if they've announced which ship is doing this itinerary in late 2010 as hopefully we'll go again.

We had so much other stuff going on that we did not have time to get too excited about our first cruise, it was our honeymoon.
Princess sent me a great offer on a cruise from here. RCL has been making a lot of changes with their promotions have cut back on some of their past passenger benefits. I figured it was a good time to try them again. At the rate of changes, The Princess past passenger program may be better than RCL's before too long.
