can you use a cell phone(verizon wireless) on golden princess-mexican riviera ? cruising 3/22/08 and need to be able to stay in touch with parents-mother is waiting for kidney transplant. anyone have any info it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Check your service provider for the ports you will be visiting. As for Mexican Revi I don't know but most likey not sice I can't get service in Cozumel/Cancun from Sprint.

Call Verizon. I have Verizon and added "international calling" (at no charge) put on my phone last year when I went to Jamiaca and Grand Caymen. Phone worked fine.. I think it is something like $1.99 or $2.99 a minute but you only pay what you use.
