Gay Cruise 1st time ever ex Australia

    2nd May 2006

Peter Oxford from AllGayCruises.com.au is thrilled to announce the 1st ever NaviGAYtion event to operate out of Australia in 2007 on a large Cruise Ship for over 1800 gay passengers, which is already being hailed as the most innovative new travel event to come to the Australian Gay community.

NaviGAYtion departs Sydney on 29th March is guaranteed to be a stunning three night, fun filled, party cruise with the most exciting and diverse group of people on-board.

All gay cruise departures are very popular in the States with over 15,000 guests travelling annually and following on from the successful concepts offered by RSVP and Atlantis Events, AllGayCruises.com.au have secured advance booking rights on P&O's Pacific Sun. Peter Oxford hopes this cruise will be a sell-out with over 1800 passengers prior to the 30th June 2006 booking cut-off.

Testament to the pink dollar spending power he said the "Verandah deck cabins were sold in the first week out with a waiting list".

Prominent advertising in the Gay press and at many inner city establishments is creating quite a buzz amongst eager would-be cruisers. This is a great opportunity for the community to try cruising, especially those people who have been reluctant to book regular departure but always wanted to try the cruise experience, can now do this with other passengers from the gay community.

"Hundreds of people have already signed-up for this innovative trip of a lifetime" said Peter. Plans are well underway to secure a top DJ line up with fabulous Celebrity entertainment that will have the ship partying all weekend long.

For information on the Navigaytion event contact the promoters at AllGayCruises.com.au on 1300-88-0419, all travel bookings are made through MTA Travel (Tag 903) with your MTA consultant Peter Oxford and For further information email peter@allgaycruises.com.au or call 1300 880 419. Well, we ARE a great demographic to market to-

I think we'll see more of this from other countries in the future, as cruise groups that primarily market to other nationalities see the phenomenal $ success of US efforts in G/L/B cruising.

Still haven't done an all gay cruise, but our last one came close- lots of us on the Spring TA of the Constellation.

But I like my little collection of straight friends that I've got from previous cruises, and now that I have a matched set of 10, it's hard not to keep cruising with the little darlings....

I know what you mean Andrew...we have enjoyed cruising and making new friends of the "other" kind

So much so we have already booked a reunion cruise to enjoy their company again.

One of the joys of any type of travel is meeting new people with different backgrounds. Here's to hoping for a world-wide epidemic of tolerance!

I am sorry I don’t want to stir the pot too much … but I have never been a fan of ALL Gay Cruises I find them discriminatory...

Can someone explain to me why do we need all anything organizations? :thumbsdow

I personally look for the day when being gay or hetro means no more than brown hair or blue eyes; its just a characteristic a person is born with.. It has no bearing on the quality of the individual; there are jerks in every grouping of humans imaginable, just as there are salts of the earth walking right beside them.

I agree you should be proud of who you are, and you should be proud of your family. But being proud of ones self and ones family has nothing to do with “what you are.” History shows us what you do in life and how you treat your fellow person tells the world “what you are”.

For those who need All gay cruises, Enjoy..

:think:I for one am having a tremendous time seeing the world with people that are family and people that we happen to meet and just down right enjoy their company and respect very much. As far as I am concerned every cruise is all person cruise for my husband and me.

Uh...Joey...preaching to the choir here, me thinks.... We all seem to like the "mix."

But, as much as I don't need the "all gay" thing now, there was a time in my life where I did, not so much for cruising, but for feeling safe in my community, for going to school, for seeking work. I would also argue, that, for as far as we've come in this country, and as much further as other countries have come, there are great swaths of the world where the freedom I enjoy would not only not be tolerated, but punnished.

Sometimes, to effect change, one needs to be more visible with a group, than simply on one's own. Gay cruises are actually good p.r.

But there's GOOD news. Enough others want that type of vacation, that you and I can continue with ours without feeling we're letting the home team down by not going on all-gay cruises! And we can continue our "slightly different type of activism" by just being us with those other wacky cruisers we seem to hang out with!

    Cheers.
